Liberation Scripting

Has anyone figured out the liberation scripting yet?

I'm a very inexperienced with scripting. I looked at the script file for one of the liberation maps, and it looked very difficult. What I couldn't figure out is what the entities on the map need to be, and what the names and targets are so that the script will perform them properly.

I had a map I started while ago, but stop working on due to time constraints, I've got more time again and think I can convert the map to liberation style.

Thanks for any help offered.

Hmm I personally don't have BT and I faintly suspect I'm not the only one here ;).

Maybe you could post some of the stock liberation scripts for us as an example to look at?

Oh and welcome to .map :D

Read the other threads on dead players teleported. Bjarne has come up with a crafty technique to simulate the Liberation Style Game play.

i am currently working on a tutorial on making a liberation map. i have never created a tutorial before, but will give it my best.

i am working on some bugs on a test map for libersation, but i am having a hard time testing my test map. have to have more than 1 person in the map...lol.

so far i have gotten everything to work correctly. the switch, the alarmbell even the cinematics work correctly. just need to iron out small details...

If you want we can host it in our tutorial section here at .MAP.
Mail it to bjarne.gronnevik@euromail.se and I'll go over it to fit the .MAP look.
( That goes for anyone else as well, if you feel we are missing tutorials in any area: feel free to make them yourself and let us take care of the hosting ).
