Some DoomIII Points.

I was trying to mod D3 and this is what I found...

#1) Compile time (Full) 2 minutes.

#2) At low settings a 32 megram Graphics card "GeForce2" will let you run DoomIII at 50FPS+ (average is 30).

#3) Dynamic lighting,

IF there is a swinging lantern, the shadows will move.

#4) YOu can add lights from inside the game (and it will do full lighting). Or you can take away lights.

#5) The Machineguns actually show how many bullets you have left, (on a screen on the gun)

#6) You can spawn MODELS into the game from the game. I spawned like 10 diff monsters, all fully functional.

#7) Doom3 has a built in..
A)Map Editor
B)User Interface Editor
C)Light Editor

#8) The Map editor has a Light editor, sound editor (yep sound editor), graphics editor. YOu can watch animations, listen to sounds, look at textures before you implement them.

#9)Uses .pk4 files.

#10)Highly Moddable.

#11) And INSIDE the game, an Entity can HAVE A GUI. A user interface. ITs like a menu.

#12)Contrary to belief that DoomIII is just a graphics engine, DoomIII has AMAZING PHYSICS.

where did u get a fully working Dev version?! or is that the leaked/buggy one?
