Are you sure when I set my mod directory to maintt in mohradiant I can see the models from BT. I am not sure but is BT a new or updated engine ? Or is it the same as spearhead .

Are you using the spearhead SDK? And where is your mohradiant stored, in mainta, main, maintt or MOHAA?

Yes it is the SDK version of mohradiant . It works with both mohaa and spearhead and I think Breakthrough . The difference is the compilers . You can use the new mohradiant from the SDK and make mohaa maps you won't notice any difference just make sure you compile with the right compilers the original mohaa compilers for mohaa maps , the new compilers for spearhead and maybe BT . The complers are q3map.exe and mohlight.exe I put the new and old ones in separate directories .
