Problem loading maps in AA

Post by smartaiguy »

I can load maps in Sp but when I try to load them in AA It starts going and I get one oof those "Sorry for the inconviece but Medal of Honor: Allied Assualt has encounter a problem and has to close" Then you have the option to send a error report to Microsoft. I look at technical report and its a problem with I think gamex36.dll (something like that, I'll look it up tonight). I've tried unistalling and reinstalling, I've done repairs everything, nothing works. SPearhead works fine, so its not a real major problem, but it would be nice to have it fixed. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks!

Pk3

Try moving the custom pk3s to a temp folder. Also rename main/script and main/textures to "xscripts" and xtextures". If that fixes it, you have a bad shader or texture image.

gamex86.dll

You say you reinstalled the game, so I don't see how the problem could be the gamex86.dll file itself. Have you tried drwatson? "drwatson" is a Windows troubleshooting program that, when running in the background, will make a report when there is a crash. It may give you more info as to why it crashes.

To use Dr. Watson, goto start/run and type in "drwatson". Then get the game to crash. The report it makes is fairly technical, but it does help sometimes.
