That STALKER game looks amazing because of the high poly count (lots of detail) and high resolution textures. It could have been made with the q3 engine all the same

Moh:PA will be utilizing the Havoc engine much like the highly anticipated HL2 title.
One of the best features so far the I have read about is that the AI charactors will truly possess AI. A prime example of this is the tech movie with the dogfighting going on. That test level was not scripted. They simply spawned 50 planes and experienced how they reacted together. This should mean that SP missions could have different gameplay experiences each time you play a level.
EALA is now produceing content for the upcoming title. Last I heard we should be seeing a release roughly March...
um, the engine is what the game is run by. just because a game looks nice doesnt make it a different engine. make some nice looking custom textures for mohaa, like a reflective floor, and u can see that a better srtist doesnt make a better engine. if ur looking for a good engine, u will LOVE HL2. comepletely new enginge, they brought geneticist in and stuff, its looks awesome.
