Also, does anybody see loads of flashing white squares on the floor whilst playing MOHS multiplayer? It seems to be where players get killed because each time you respawn, the flashing white squares appear more and more. Is this a bug in the game and would upgrading my GForce 2 graphics card help?

Some earlier blood mods create that effect. Remove the blood mod from your mainta directory and it should/might clear it up. Had the same issue when I installed SH when it first came out. Don't remember the blood mod at the moment though.
