Selecting more than one brush?

I'm having trouble making a door rotate on the edge instead of in the middle. I've read and done most of the door tutorial. I just can't seem how to select both of the brushes to make it rotate on the edge like it says. How do I select more than one brush at a time to make the door work?

Origin brush

Well, I will assume you have a brush with the origin texture along your door's hinge point. Hold Shift and click on the door first. Then, while still holding the Shift key, click on the origin brush. That should highlight both brushes. Now you can hit key N and make them a func_rotatingdoor with the angle set to one of the directions the player would face to open it.

The way to double check your door entity is with Ctrl E (E for entity). Click on the door brush and hit Ctrl E. The origin brush should become highlighted to show that both brushes are part of one entity. As long as that is true, the door will rotate at the origin brush's center point.

Here is a tutorial map with about 35 doors in it you can study.
