Funny is I can subtract in other maps. But on this map, I press csg button and...nothing. Needless to say I'm selecting properly, etc. I've used subtract quite a lot on this map (10-15 x). But now it simply stop working... Maybe there's a max # of brushes? wtf?
Thanks.

From my own experiences, CSG subtract causes a lot of problems for radiant as well as my maps that employ it. It could very well be that you've punched your ticket too many times, in a manner of speaking.
Lately, I've been avoiding using it. It may mean a little more work in the long run, but taking the time to make things from scratch is a better option.

I changed the texture of the brush to be subtracted to caulk and...it works!!! I still don't understand but...
Thanks anyway!

I can only guess as to why it's not working on your map and then working on others, but I would have to say that it's simply been used too many times on that particular map. When I said that you punched your ticket too many times, I was just using a figure of speech in that you tried your luck one too many times with a function that isn't very reliable.
When you compile your map as it is right now, do you get any brush errors or anything else serious? If so, they could be the culprit.
Maybe if you saved your map as a prefab and then loaded that into a new map, you would be able to use CSG again. That's the best solution that I can come up with.

There is a shader value that does not allow carving here is a line from a shader manual
5.2 qer_nocarve
A brush marked with this instruction will not be affected by CSG subtract functions. It is especially useful for water and fog textures.

Just updating this topic:
Thanks again for your reply guys. The texture I'm using ( mosswall) have been carved all the time. But in that particular brush it was not working. I textured the wall with caulk, apply the CSG, and re-textured the wall again. Woks for me. I didn't try to copy the wall and window to a different map to see if was a map or a brush or a texture problem...
But we have something here! I've found other topics w/ similar problems and ppl just don't know why this is happening.
Well, I've found my solution but I'm dam curious to know wtf is this...
