sh effects in aa?

Can we implement some sh effects in aa, like the snow reaction to grenades for example. In aa you get a nice woosh of spray from water but not snow. I could put triggers and emmitters everywhere but would soon exceed my entitie count.

you could try finding the SH animation files and put them into the AA main pk3's but that is beyond me - you'd have to get the right ones and put them in excactly the right directory. Thats the only way i think. If oyu can find the right anim files i can prob help a bit further.

I guess you'd have to replace models/fx/grenexp_snow.tik by the spearhead one 8-).

mmm... would MOH AA play this tik when you throw a grenade? would it know when to play it? surely SH has somthin to go with then tik?

if that is wrong soz i'm only a mapper

Yep I will have to add the sprites and effects tiks etc etc. Still should be easy to perform, I might even go for the cod stuff, maybe......
