I am not sure if the setting actually works, because I can see from one end of my map to the other in Radiant no matter what, but there is a setting under Edit-->Preferences for Look Ahead.

Also, you can change the model cull distance so that they don't appear as bounding boxes as quickly.
This setting is also in Edit-->Prefrences: Model Cull Dist:

Hope this helps.

What exactly is it that you can't see?

Right now I am working on a map with the longest viewline at 10,000 grid....and I can see directly across the entire map in Radiant.

If you are speaking of the compiled map itself, then you would need to adjust the farplane value either in your script, or in worldspawn, depending on where you originally set it.

Other than that, I am out of suggestions.

Of course! Good call bdbodger!

@TNT: On the tool bar at the upper part of your screen are two icons. One is for Cubic Clip the Camera View, and the other is Cubic clip Terrain

Most likely if you click the Cubic Clip the Camera View,(which is directly left of your clipper icon) then you will see all of your map.
