i'm sorry if bothering you all with this stupid question, but when searching i still got way too many replies.
how do i make a brush (in this case a wall) solid so the player can't clip through it?

How did it get unsolid? Is it an exploder? You can use a brush with common/player_clip texture to block player, or common/clip_all texture to block everything (players and weapons).

um, walls are automatically solid, unless something was done to them.
