hi, i accidently deleted my .map file for my map but i have the .bsp file. Is there anyway to decompile it back to a .map file without messing anything up? (cause this map took me a while to make)

nope, the decompiled bsp will be a VERY messy map file.

maybe u have a bak file left? or something in maps/snapshots (u'd have to rename these files before u can open them in radiant)?

you're welcome.
btw, i have a zip file in my maps folder where from time to time i copy all map files. atleast once this was very helpful and it doesn't need much space.

ummm..i have another question:
im making a tdm map. How do i make spawn points so that only one team will spawn there?

Where you put info_player_allied, will spawn allies and where you put info_player_axis, the axis will spawn there. The info_player_deathmatch is where you will spawn when playing FFA and it's where you will enter the game (before choosing a team) in TDM.

when i compile the map and test it...i only spawn at the info_deathmatch spawn. ?

Edit: nvm they work when you create a LAN server. :D
