Weird Stuff happening: invisible textures and black spots

ok, I was running around in my own built map and i noticed textures becoming invisible and sometimes just a small part of a wall so not the entire side of 1 brush and sometimes a black spot on them. Now How do I solve this without screwing up things?
example:
Me standing inside (red = invisible texture; yellow = spot)
Me standing outside just to proof the wall is actualy there

[/b]
NOTE: IT IS NOT CAULK i only used 3 texures so far, origin and the 2 u can c in the screenshots (planning to caulk the entire thing when I find the general structure ok and start setting the actual textures at the end)
overlapping

Check for overlapping brushes. Also, try "-final" for the light compile.

as far as the spot, try in world spawn adding this key/value ambientlight 20 20 20. mess around with the numbers, u get shadows when u dont use ambient light, or if u use light entities.

there are no light entities and ambientlight is 40 40 40 so can't be that

Some of the time when a wall in on a vis line that happens or is it when the wall is on a strange angle . For the dark spot try makeing the doors script_objects unless they are already func_doors , give them targetnames and move them forward with a grid of 256 . After complieing use script to move them back again . I think it has to do with radiosity in the light stage of compile .

try putting a lught entity in the corner with a light of 40 40 40 like your ambient light so no one will notice

Your map had over 1100 duplicate planes, has no caulk faces what-so-ever,
and had (invisible) planes that extended beyond the limits of the grid.
I think I have repaired most of the errors. So, try compiling this version of your map:
http://pages.sbcglobal.net/tltrude/Temp/bock4.zip (file deleted).
And, the faces that people can't see still need to be caulked. Those 83 toilets are going to bite you in the ass with bad FPS, I think.
I am surprised that only two of the 83 rotating stall doors leak!--not a problem.
If you are wondering how I got your .map file, the file that ends in ".bak" is a backup file for it.
I only had to change the extention to ".map" to use it in the editor. The only files
you have to include in your pk3 are the .bsp file and the script (.scr, if there is one).
I fixed a lot of the missing wall faces, but there are probably some I missed. That is an old problem that no one has figured out yet.
The only thing you can do to fix it, is to cover the missing face with another wall, or rebuild the wall on another grid line.
The problem shows up a lot when you clone large groups of brushes and rotate them.
Good Luck!

If you have it downloaded, I'll delete it from my server. I see there are still two faces missing (two top steps). You can fix them by making the brush shorter and adding a spacer--hopfully. Anyway, that's what I did to it, but haven't compiled to see if it worked.
Download it again, and let me know when I can delete it--limited free space.

Hello? Download it again, so I can delete it .
http://pages.sbcglobal.net/tltrude/Temp/bock4.zip (file deleted).
I already added the extra brushes for the missing step faces, but you will have to compile to find out if it is fixed or not--I did not.
All your doors work, as far as I can tell. The ramps below your stairwells are overlapping the steps--I fixed one of them.
