Simple Question

Post by chrisjbooth2001 »

This has probally been asked, and you'll probally give me a link to a thread. But I'll ask anyway because simple questions are usually the hardest to answer!

How do i make doors open Away from the player.

I did find on a site that i put Alwaysaway/1 into the properties window but this doesnt always seem to work.

Thanks

angle

The door's angle has to be set to one of the two directions a player will face while opening the door. Highlight the door and look at it in the top 2d view. Then hit key N and pretend you are standing on the buttons marked U|D. Now click on an angle button as if you were opening the door in the 2d window.

That should fix your backwards opening doors. Btw, alwaysaway 1 is default and does not have to be set. If you set alwaysaway 0, the door will only open in the one direction the angle is set for.
