Snowfun user-snowcontest Map

I just made a new map for JV's snowcontest mod . You will need JV'S user-snowcontest2.pk3 to play it . My contribution to the mod is adding snow trails to the snowballs and the steilhandgranate. I also added some dogs , Thanks small sumo for the doberman model . It also has ai's that throw snowballs . If you don't want the ai's or dogs open the level script and set level.add_ai = 0 .

Ok server is up had to fix a boo boo I put the env in the textures directory not in the root of pak fixed now

There seems to be a slight problem with your pk3 bdbodger... first I had to rename it in order to overwrite the tiks in my user-snowcontest2.pk3. Second, I had to make a new new_generic_human.tik to get the anims to work. I suppose you have this file in your models/human folder but it doesn't ship with the pk3.

When I got everything to work it was great fun all the way :D the dogs are pretty good but the AI snow throwing skills aren't that effective ;).

Excellent map though, I especially like the ice. I'm still looking for the snowflakk :?

Too bad the dogs sound like hairdryers with technical problems ;)

Btw I tried to join your server but my moh crashes with a 'fs_readfile with empty name' error :?

Ok JV I thought that my pak would be read after yours I mean snowfun is after snowcontest isn't it ? anyway I will rename it and add a new_generic_human to it . The snow flakk was an idea I didn't actually put it in the map maybe next map . Thanks for the input .By the way what is that error ?

Ok pak renamed and link updated . New_generic_human included snowflakk removed . The doberman does not always loose they are equal just bad luck . I moved some nodes so bsp has changed too .

server seems to work now with change in the pak name etc . I will run it for a while to see if it is ok now . A few days anyway . No ai's .

got the doberman working in spearhead,,,even attacks me :)
Problem is the doberman has no testure?? Any ideas??

NO I don't , the texture was there when I made that map and the shader that goes with it .

thanks man,,thats all the info i needed :) Didnt realize which shader was for the dogs untill i looked closer,,,now i have dobermans and german shepards both chasing me down in multiplayer hahaha,,man they mean:)
