Fixing Textures

How do you flip a {Texture}, for Ex. I am makeing a lighthouse and my caulk i inside out. Is it not when you push "S" it brings up {Surface Properties} but I am not to good with this all yet maby i am useing the rong thing can any one help plz. :?:

Click your Textures Tab - Alignment - X/Y Flip.

if that is the type of 'flip' you mean.

You can also lock your textures so they don't change when you move or rotate a brush. That option is in textures menu. After you do that you can flip the whole brush under the Selection menu.

To use the method Cheetohs talked about, you highlight the brush, or only one face of the brush (Shift + Ctrl + Left mouse button). Then under the textures menu hit Alignment > X Flip or Y Flip (try X first). That come in handy to move doorknobs to the other side of a door, or to flip a swastika the right way around.

bottom right of the editor has 3 buttons x flip y flip and z flip, those do the same thig and they're easier to get to.

or you can just save the picture upside down that always works :D
