Ok i added the sound lighthouse_run to some doors using key sound_open_start and sound_close_start....I also added a custom sound with the proper work around in in my .scr. I made a test map with one door for each sound...all worked. There were 2 doors. Now on my map there are 6 doors that play these sounds 1 door plays the custom sound and 5 doors for the lighthouse_run sound....Ok I compiled and tested. 2 of the doors play the lighthouse_run sound. None of the other doors play the sounds I wanted. I checked the values. All of them are set correctyl. They only error I get in console is the one I pasted in the subject line. The sound I hear is plain old metal door sound. My test map had this same problem... 3 doors. on the same wall and only 1 made the sound. When i moved them around and deleted one door the door on the one wall worked and the door on second wall worked...I assumed that you could not have 3 doors in that close of proximity. I rechecked all the values. All of them are correct.

here they are

doortype metal
alwaysaway 0
lip 0
wait 5
time 2.5
angle -1
sound_open_start lighthouse_run
sound_close_start lighthouse_run
spawnflags 128 (targeted doors)

lighthouse_run sound will work in all maps with out a addedline in the script. Just in case i did add it and the console error said I had 2 aliaes for lighthouse_run. Does any one have any ideas why the sounds work for 2 doors only and not more???? Please Help.

Ok re-did a test map this tim i added 4 doors 1 playing my custom sound 3 playing lighthouse_run....I got to play lighthouse_run and 1 to play my custom sound so 3 worked. the 4th was just a regular metal sound. I added a line in the script......local.master aliascache door_triggered sound/items/Item_WireCutter_01.wav soundparms 0.5 0.0 1.2 0.0 160 800 auto loaded maps "m dm moh obj "...I wanted to give that door_triggered a alias. It seemed to help one door. I get no errors in my console.

Yeah, I have run into that problem too. It seems adding the "doortype" key/value to a door will override, or orverlap, the "sound_open_start" and "sound_close_start" key/values.
