How can I make it so the rotating door only opens one way?

If you mean that it can only be open from one side, use a 'trigger_use' on the side you want it to open. if you mean you want it to just open one direction, but can be opened from both sides, just make your origin and door, and 'func > rotatingdoor' it.

no!! this is just "working" in very special cases! in general, rotating doors need a correctly set angle and then 'oneway' doors need a key/value of alwaysaway/0
does anyone read threads about rotating doors or do we just write them??
e.g.
this one
or
that one
or ....

So true Wacko, that is easiest thread to find. But some aren't so easy. Not that I'm the one that always has to answer questions like you gentlemen do. Which I appreciate greatly.

You're right, and I posted enough silly questions myself to know how precious this forum is. Nevertheless, these doors... I think I'll finally do a tutorial. Who wants and is able to proof read it?

I don't need it any longer, but I would be willing to proof read it. Not sure how good I'd be. But I'd have a go at it.

Ok Wacko I just got done proofing your tutorial, and it seems to be pretty good. I know it would've helped me much more with all the information in one tutorial like the one you just made. Just a suggestion, also might wanna fix capitalisation of some stuff. lol I dont even know if I used the right capital word or not.

OH!! I just thought of something else. How bout adding how to put the door sounds in, like metal doors and stuff. Just a thought...

exactly what i asked for: where no doortype set is a wooden door, doortype/metal makes the door sound like a metal door, but what else should be mentioned?!
