I made this sliding door with a window in it and when I tested it the door went straight to a wall, but I want it to stop before or when it hits the wall...
I've searched the forum, but I didn't find a solution...

I Think the pics explain it all....

Is there a way to fix this?

give the func_door a key/value of lip/##
## is the number of units u want it to stop earlier minus 8
normally a door slides as far as it is long minus 8, which is because the default lip value is 8.
so:
if it slides 32 units too far, give it a k/v lip/40
or
if u want a 128 units wide door slide 100 units, give it k/v lip/28

 this default lip of 8 makes it difficult to explain...

Thx a lot!
After guessing, testing and a bit of twinkering I got it working like a charm!
