This is probably a noobish question, but i have to ask. I create a map and I understand you have to script for sounds to work. But what about the sounds for running, jumping, firing of weapons, etc. I looked all through the Main\sound folder but found no sounds for them.
How can I get sounds for weapons? Also if you could give me an example of a working script that would be great.

Thank, J( )|?G3

u probably still have a SinglePlayer map. This would have to have a name with prefix test to get the standard sounds, like test_mymap.bsp.
Else, you could make it a Deathmatch map, which would have the sounds as well. For a DM map, u'll need atleast one info_player_deathmatch and the bsp must be moved to mohaa/main/maps/dm. Once u launched the map as a DM, everything (well, atleast the sounds) will be fine.
For the SinglePlayer you could check out some tutorials starting at
http://map.moh-central.net/t.php?id=65 to get rid of the 'test'

I do SP maps, and always name them "test_mapname" <no quotes> and all the normal in-game sounds are fine...
