Maybe a stupid question

How do you join a game that has a password and you know what it is? This maybe obvious but it eludes me.

Go to options, then to advanced, enable consol if you havnt already, when you join it will say password invalid, then open your consol which is ` next to button 1, type in your password, and hit reconnect. Ive never done this before but im pretty sure thats how you do it. Hope this helps.

I'll try that. I found in TMT forums an explanation as well. In the console window enter:
set password somepassword
connect 24.163.133.152:12203
somepassword being whatever the password for the game is. The IP of the game server (the one above is just an example), followed by a colon and the port number. The above port number, I think, is the default for Spearhead. Somewhere I read a list of default port numbers for Spearhead, Allied Assault, and others.
