MOHAA Clay Pigeon Shooting!!!

Ha ha ha, I have got it working. Nearly complete and ready for you guys. The clays are bottles and they explode in the air when you shoot them. It even keeps a score for you. :D :D :D

I'll post it for you all soon.

Have you guys checked out the longest day objective map, got some mad scripting in there with Parachute jump and beach landings in Multiplayer mode. :lol:

Sounds fun, i was thinking of doing a 'training course' type of map with clay pigeons, but im not good in the scripting department... IS there anything else in the level? And ya, a tut would be sweet.

It is on a training map actually. It's a multiplayer map with an Assault Course(Two person), A sniper range(time based), MG42 Range(Time Based), Clay Pigeon(Time Based) and a Grenade Range(also Time Based). I have AI Sentries to kill on the Sniper and Grenade Range. Loooking at adding a Bazooka Range maybe today aswell. The map is aimed at a bit of clan fun on a map.

If I do a tut, what format and where do I put it?

As pure HTML as possibe... look at the currrent tutorials. Send it to me or any other of the admin staff :)

lol,well,it sounds cool! :D,cant wait.
and i hope its better than the snowball mod somebody made,that was cool,but it got bored after playing 3 rounds :P:D

Any chance you can put a gundog in there somewhere (i'm thinking back to Duck hunt on the NES, with a tear in my eye, 1st sniff game i ever sniff owned) :)

Duck hunt was and STILL is really fun. Im still playing it to this day :D :oops: !!!! Lol, ya, put a dog in there that laughs or something (somehow :P ) when you miss. haha, what fun.

Clay Shoot Tutorial

Well I have done the tutorial for you guys and I tried to mail it to Bjarne BZR but it did not work. Your all welcome to use it, just a bit of credit is always nice. It is a very cut done version of the one I have used in my map but it works nicely. :D

Alright, im almost done with my 'duck Hunt' themed map i made for this mini game of yours ;) . But i am having one problem... The damage. I check the spawnflags (128) on the Trigger>Multiple (like it says in the tut). But in game, the jar doesnt explode. Is the damage suppose to be applied to the trigger>Multiple???

I even tried changing the damage to '20' or so, so that i'd know if i hit it, but once again, nothing.

I wanted to change my clay pigeon to the static/dish.tik (looks like a clay pigeon) but it doesn't show ingame... here is the line i changed it on:

level.clay = spawn static/bottle_large.tik

I changed this line to:

level.clay = spawn static/dish.tik

when it didnt show, i went into pak0>models>static and scrolled down to to make sure i had the right name.. which i did dish.tik.

Am i doing something wrong?

If your bottle does not explode, check the script. All the trigger does when it is hit by a bullet is fire off the thread to explode it.

As for the spawning of objects, it seems that you cannot spawn objects out of the list you were trying. Anything out of STATIC/DECOR seems to work. I haven't tried the rest.
