Project Update: 3/22/04

Okay guys, I made the jeep ride about 30 seconds longer, adding rooms, a desert, and some other cool stuff.

Also- I know how to add the train now, so once im done with the jeep, i will work on the train.

How about a Ferris Wheel?

And although it'd be way too hard to do, bumper cars would kick all sorts of ass.

Ferris Weel. Theirs and Idea. I wonder How One could Make a Big object Turn Slowly, But Coninuously.

I could make 4 Seets, Simple, But Cool.


Bumper Cars, Lol. Would be cool too, Still trying to figure out How player can enter and exit a Vehicle.

I have a map, not mine but I have it and it has a Ferris Weel that you can turn on and it pritty koo. there is also a marygoround too. I will find the name of the map and try to find out where I downloaded it from it might help you some.

And for the player to enter and exit a Vehicle. I dont rember what it is called but it like when you spawn things like U shaped sandbags, there is a invisible barerr so you cant go in the mibble of them. well maby you can get it so you can walk through the middle of the car since we cant realy sit down any way. hope iv helped

U ought to make the spinndle top. U get in a round room and it starts spinning and it makes u stick to the wall then the floor falls....koool.
But in the game the floor could fall reeaaal far! Or turn into a boiling mus pit or something.

Make a glass tunnel that goes under the water and make shark models!

That glass tunnel idea is awesome.

tom made a map with a feris wheel in it. ask him for it and scale it the way u want. he has a mery-go-round too.

Me and Wartech were working on the jeeps and Figured Out How To Have the Player go up to a jeep, Press USE< and the Jeep ride along the Pre-determined Path. We also figured out how to let the player get back out with no problems.

Also:

I think the Tunnel Idea Is Great. I gotta find some shark models, Possibly having them glid around.

If TlTrude Gets my message and sends me back, ill use That ferris Wheel and Marry Go round.

I had a Question About that, Can you actually Get on the Marry-Go-Round?

This Tom, I think it is the map that he made that I Have. And yes you can get on the Marry Go round but you cant ride it only stand on it as it goes around couse there are only horses on it not seats.

IF its the eiffel tower map (i believe) the merry-go-round is pretty cool. the horses go up and down while the entire thing spins... Kah-razy!

maybe ask him for some help on the train? although, i do believe it was Scorpion who scripted it? Ghost dog also has a Catapult map (im sure youve heard of it... its really really realyl fun! you can jump in the catapult and it'll launch you hundreds of feat into the air...)

I was wondering, i didnt really quite understand this 'medalofhonor land' map.. is it a carnival type of thing with rides and carny games? There was this map that had a couple carny stands where you could shoot stuff... pretty cool, if you want more info ill find some for you. It also has the 'hit the pad with the hammer so the bell will go DING' game... And many many many more mods

If it IS a carnival-like level here are some ideas i thought of:
-haunted house - Traps and various ways of getting through, dimly lit, weird sounds, the works...

-Mine Cart ride - self-explanitory

-'The bullet' - it was a ride we use to have at our fair, it had 2 pods, one at each end of a spinning (large) ..um.. beam?. 4 seats to each pod, people would get in, and it would Take you around and around. Sort-of like a Ferris-wheel but much much faster...

Another idea, that you could attach to one of your rides (maybe the jeep one?) would be to have Targets that pop up and random times along the course and you try and shoot them. (breakable targets of course!). That woould be fun.

I dunno, the ideas are endless!

toms map with the ferris wheel has booths with shootable stuff in it. the whole top floor is pretty much a carnival. has that test ur strenght this to with the hammer. hes also got a cannon at the bottom that shoots u, its cool.

Thanx for that map, Going to Look at it now, possibly add another ride.

Yeah, The Train Script Is Actually Super Easy.

I already made a map Called Hunt-Train.

It adds a Train to the Stock map- Hunt.
