How to make bumpy land + Radiant problems

After i made my first bunker map,i wanted to make a lil river and things like that next to the bunker,but i have no idea of how to make a landscape with hills and lil bumps and cute pink bunnys hopping around........umm,forget the bunny thing!!!!

Next question;
My lil brother wanted to make his own map with Radiant,so said okay,and now i just have the weirdest view ever,i dont have picture of it right now,cuz im at work!,but il try to show u anyways

question 1: You can achieve bumps and hills and valleys and all sorts of neet stuff with "LOD terrain", there is a bunch of nice tutorials on the net for doing this including one on this site in the tutorials section. Quesion 2: If you're talking about the layout of the view windows in radiant, just go to edit-preferences, then at the top it gives you the different layout options (views/rendering). If that isn't what you're talking about, i'm sorry than I dont understand.
