Bending with Texture Problem

Post by |Row|*GEN*J( )|?G3 »

I have a problem. I put in bends in my map and on the 2 sides. It is see thru. I want to put the textures on the other 2 sides. I can do it with the vertex but it looks very crappy, is there an easy way to just click a side and put textures on there. I know about the Left Shift + Crtl + Left Click but that does seem to work.

What do u suggest I do?

if the texture on a patch mesh is on the wrong side, select it ad press Ctrl+i and it is on the other side.
If the caps are attached at the wrong edges of the mesh, u will have to Curve/Matrix/Transpose the mesh.
Not sure about ur problem, is this what u were needing?
btw: Ctrl+Shift+LMB can be Right Shift as well (good for lefthanded ppl :D )

Ok I see what that does...but that don't solve my problem....its good help tho.

I should have explained it better. The arch is the way I want it, but what I need to do, is fill the sides of the arches. There are 3 sides(bottom, and 2 sides) that can be seen, but the 2 sides are tranparent. Top is not important to me, I just need to fill in the sides.

Now can I do something to do to fill the sides in? If not what do u suggest?

I am not that good at this yet is there I tried the patchmesh and that didnt work. All I want to know is how u make the arch with the textures on the sides like Wacko showed me.

Sorry to bother you again but can u put a step by step intstructions to do the arch with the textures.

If you do feel like it that ok...i guess i will try to just figure it out, but i dont think i can.
