.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

This f##king CSG substract is pissing me off, everytime i make a brush and when i put a new brush in it and do csg cubstract it says: ''Selected brush did not intersect with any other brushes.'' BULLSHIT! Its in the f##king brush... please help me

Don't know how experienced you are so I'll ask simple questions:

What kind of brush are you CSG subtracting from? It only works on regular brushes, not LOD and patch-mesh and cylinders and stuff...

Are you sure it is inside and not just looks like it in the 2D view?

Have you selected the the subtracting brush before performing a CSG subtract?

I made one map already and its on alliedassault.us so i think i am quite experienced, anyways. I made a wall of caulk or just some wall texture on it and i put a new brush in it (same texture) i am 100% sure it is IN the wall and both of the ends are tru the wall. When i select that brush and when i do shift+u (subtract) it says ''Selected brush did not intersect with any other brushes.''
Maybe i need to activate a button at top or something?....

Hmmm... that sounds really strange... sounds like you are doing it the wai you are supposed to in every way...

Yes, it's strange and F#*(&#$_ing irritating... Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt... I tried the same thing at detailed brushes and it still wont work... ... Il search for this problem in other topics...

Well what the f)(*#k... When i put a caulk texture on it it works... Lets hope it keeps working from now on... LOL, thanks gusy
