In destroyed village, I made a tank that drives and shoots, but I cannot figure out how to make it explode when you shoot a rocket at it. I got it to just disappear, but I want it to go up in flames and explode like it does in single player. If you can help, please post an example of what it would look like. Thank you.

If you managed to make a tank drive around, you would manage to replace the maother with a destroyed model after spawning a tank explosion... what part is the trouble? ( the more exact you ask the more exact we can answer )

I can't figure out how to make the tank explode when you shoot it with a bazooka or something. I know it isn't immune to anything. I want it to show it exploding. Like in single player on SP, in Berlin, when you are in th T34 firing at other tanks. Once you destroy them, they show the animation of them blowing up. That is what I want to do to the tank, so if someone destroys it, it will explode.

I am talking about destroyed village (mohdm2). I need to create the script for that map for that particular tiger tank.

try this:

Code: Select all

	local.fire = spawn script_model
	local.fire model models/emitters/explosion_tank.tik
	local.fire.origin = $tank.origin + (0 0 48)
	local.fire.scale = 1
	local.fire anim start
Change "$tank" to the targetname you are using for your tank.
