Walk Thru Models

Hi
Could use some help here....
I'm dropping vehicles in my map (static/vehicles/europe etc) but when I render the map you can walk thru them (some have a solid core but not full car shape). I tried caulking some blocks where the models are but the cars explode (disappear) after enough shots, leaving invisible caulked walls where the vehicles no longer are.
Anyone know if i can solve this? Or just stop the vehicles taking damage so they never disappear? Then I can go with the caulking method....
For some reason, the green delivery truck is ok - all others aren't (silver car - tan car etc)

never heard of being able to blow up vehicles without scripting... maybe give them a high health value or maybe 0 for invulnerability works?
instead of the caulk brushes, you better use clip brushes

blwoing up w/o scripting! news to me. yea clip would be better that caul. try tagetnaming the walls and car. add something like
if($car isalive){
$wall show
else
$wall remove
}
i dunno if that is right syntax, if it isnt someone correct me

wow thx - some cool suggestions... I'll try some things out...
I never had cars explode on me before either (in other maps I built) but for some reason, hit em enuff and the explode. Well, they disappear and if you're too close you'll die - no actual explosion... strange.

Happened to me 2. 2nd map I ever made. Clipped the cars and Id shoot them and they would vanish. Mercedes.

These are the ones exploding on me:
static/vehicle/europe/car-gray
static/vehicle/europe/car-silver
static/vehicle/europe/car-tan
I haven't tried the Merc - will now tho and see what i get... And yeah, if you're too close when it blows, it'll take you out too!
I also notice that static/vehicle/europe/deliverytruck-green seems fine and behaves differently to those other models... No need to clip it - it just drops in like a solid object - also, in Radiant, it's represented by a purple rectangle (same size as truck) - where as all the others are represented by brown column in the models center. Any ideas on that? Are they different formats?

Are you sure you used static models in all cases? The vehicles under the vehicles -> german/american folder act differently than those under static -> vehicles.
Anyway typing the following key/values should fix the exploding/killing problem:
key / value
nodamage / (no value - just hit enter twice)
fullstop / (no value)
You need clip brushes to prevent players from walking / shooting through.
