Creativity needed for Puzzles

I'm currently (more like just started) a map. I haven't quite decided if it is going to be SP or multiplayer. But heres the scope:
This map is going to be farely large. The story behind the map is.. well.. there really is no story
but rather, the map is for fun. The 'objective' of the map: Surviving through a large mansion full of puzzles and traps.
I have many many many ideas for puzzles and traps, needing more though, to get a wide range of creativity
... here are some ideas of mine:
-(basic)Destroying/opening 'odd' looking walls... like a secret tunnel.
-switches, many many switches. Objects that if you click on, different parts of the level will open up, revealing more and more rooms of puzzles.
-switch sequences, lets say there will be 3 switches, you have to get them the right sequence (Up, down, Up... or... up, Up, Down... etc.)
-Opening Bookcases/carpets/walls/staircases.
-Maybe a Bridge scene that resembles that of Monty Python
"what is your name?"
"what is your quest?"
"what is your favorite color?"
Something along those lines
.
-Riddles?
-Mazes (hedge maze?)
basically a bunch of clues and 'mysteries' that will guide you to the correct path in the large puzzle level.
Just wondering of some ideas you guys might have and what you think of the map idea
