This forum is for news :?

With your question you'd better head to the mapping forum, and please don't type everything in caps.

Welcome to .map btw.

when you save your map you got 2 files

nameofmymap.map and nameofmymap.BAK

rename the nameofmymap.BAK with teh extension .map and you ll recover your previous map with all your previous texture .........

pk3

Post by tltrude »

The editor gets textures from the pk3s you have in mohaa/main. So if you delete or move some out of main, they will vanish in the editor. When you are mapping, you should always put your non-original pk3s in a temp folder in main.

Hm... hightlander, it seems that you have used a texture from a home made map, then removed or renamed that maps *pk3 file. This will get the effect you are describing.
