Some New (and old) Server Side Mods with Menu + Stargate Map

Hey Guys, I saw Mefy's post here with the voodoo/freeze/ctf server side mods and tought this belongs here:

It's a pack with a collection of server side mods, some are new, some are old adapted ones.
It contains all Mefy's mods for all maps with correct mapnames. Difference with the Mefy mod is that they are all in one file and can be activated/deactivated via rcon and a simple restart. Next to these mods there are some other ones like a Shrink, Giant, Gravity and Light mod.

On the same page you will find an in game menu to control the mods and basically everything you need in mohaa (rcon, mp3, video, client settings, custom binds, taunts,...) It even contains a submenu to control the jv_bot maps :wink:

Just check out the screenshots and readme's on this page to know all details. You can download the mods separately or with the menu.

New version available, same link as above

Changes:
- New server side mod Domination
- New server side mod Double Domination with Optional sounds (sounds included in the pack but have to be on client to work)
- Bot menu updated with development options
- All weapons server side mod (gives all weapons)

Hey Guys,

Next to V2.5 of the pack I'm also releasing my first map, the Stargate SG mountain complex facility. It was intended as part of the TC SG-X mod with Shifty, but since that has been cancelled I'm releasing the map separately.

Stargate Installer: Screens & Download

The download is an installer containing:
- The map dm and obj version
- SG skins (by wolfman, downloaded them from the site at least)
- Menu (a total conversion of the menu, not completely finished see readme)
- Mods package (al lot of mods that are also available in the pack)

Cant get that installer work .It say moh not installed on my computer .Even after formating my computer and reinstalling the game.

The installer checks for a registry value so it can determine where your mohaa has been installed and it can directly install the pk3 and audio files in the correct directory.

When another user has installed mohaa or you don't have admin rights it's possible you don't have that registry value and the installer will prompt that you don't have mohaa installed.

Check your mail for a reg file you can use to set the correct value :wink:

Version 3.0 Released of server side mods (see link in first topic)

Changes:
- Mech mods added which can be activated parallel with all other mods
- The converted SH & BT maps (see this topic) scripts were added to the pack and adapted so they also support all mods (power mod, domination, double domination, mefy's mods = freeze tag, ctf, ...)
- Spearhead support added (the mods & menu now also available for spearhead)

Note: The pack does not contain the SH & BT converted maps themselves, only the updated scripts. See the referred topic for the map download. (make sure the pack comes alphabetically behind these maps)

Talking about spearhead, check out the released "Das Ende" sp campain here

Version 3.1 Released of sever side mods

Changes:
- Liberation scripts added (fully server side) = Play the liberation mod in all Allied Assault Maps, including converted SH & BT Maps
- Bot scripts added (semi server side, jv_map bot pk3's required client side as usual) = Play all DM Maps, including the converted SH & BT Maps with Bots
- Single Player to MP Maps added (server side)
- Update of menu for new mods
- Update of installer so people with invalid reg settings can select where to install the package instead of having to abort/edit reg.

Does this have CTF/FT/DEM set up for the SP maps? I get a lot of requests for that.

Sorry, no CTF/FT/DEM for the converted Single Player maps (yet). Only present in the AA maps and the SH & BT to AA converted maps.

Will add them in the next release though :wink:

Tricky question hehe. No simple yes or no:

The menu and some of the mods were idd created by Blade, the other mods were created by various other people (see the credits section in the readme).
Note that "Blade" is not the blade from .map but the one from URC. :wink:

Version 3.2 Released

Changes:
- Modded all Single Player to multiplayer Maps with Blade's Power Mod, FT/CTF/Demolition, Domination, Double Domination. (as promised)
- Update of Domination and Double Domination in SH & BT to AA converted maps.
- Patched all Single Player to multiplayer Maps (removed bombs, exploding walls etc...)
- Added fully functional Bot Scoreboard (to keep score when you play alone vs bots) (in the control menu you can bind this to a key)

My first map: Stargate Map to keep all links in 1 post :wink:

Note:
In the original SP to MP mod scripts I found somewhere (and added in V3.1) the only thing done was the addition of spawnpoints.
When I played them and saw undestroyed walls, double models, glowing explosives, invisible walls/vehicles and places to go under the map, I decided they were not adequate for release.
All these "glitches" have been updated/patched in V3.2 by me and are therefore subject to my opinion/taste. For example m6l2b could be expanded to include the "snowy park" section but isn't.
Not all possible SP maps are included in this conversion, they of course could be added on request and if playable ;o)

Excellent :D

You may want to check this out:

It's a tutorial for making an addon gametype to my mod. That way you could start Domination by setting g_extgametype to dom or Double Domination by setting g_extgametype to ddom.
