couple of questions

Post by chorizo »

hello

i am gettin the hang of this map making thing...but i would like to make a training map and i have no clue how to do a lot of many things

so if u could tell me if it's possible and maybe explain a bit how to do it
so here goes

-shooting range: when u run and cross certain points....targets appear out of the ground and go back down when u shoot them....but stay up if u miss.....and will also have a reset switch

-obstable course: to start a timer that everyone can see and can be reset....also the timer should stop when the player finishes the course

-long range shooting: to shoot at a target....and after a certain amount a of shots....the target comes to the player to show the shots made...also with a reset switch

-shooting: a field where targets pop up at random...with a start switch....a counter.......and reset switch

-shooting: moving targets this time.....appear at random and move right or left in a straight line

that's all....doesn't sound too complicated does it?

thanx

target range

Maybe this tutorial map will help--it includes a text version of the script and the .map file. Both pk3's must be in main.
