Twin Tower map...

I was thinking about making a twin tower map for MOHAA but I did not want to piss ppl off...
So I am asking ppl in here to let me know if I should make it?
And if so, dose anyone know where I can get the elevator for the towers?
I do not really want to make the towers look like they have been distorted.

i'd say no, but not because it wouldn't be right, rather because it would be very difficult to get a decent gameplay involving both towers. Each team starting in one tower meeting in the square in between? Snipers firing from one into the other tower? Nevertheless a skyscraper map could be fun, but rather like DieHard I with just one tower.
For the elevator, u could take Tltrudes tutorial map (should be mentioned here anywhere) or the map shopp (could be found in the recycling bin). Both have a three floor elevator which ought to be easily adjustable. Or pm Nuggets who - as far as I remember - has done scripting for a nomatterhowmanyfloors elevator...

I would agree with wacko, even if you could make it as accurate as the real ones were I dont know how it could be fun to play, but if you can figure it out, than do it. As far as p**sing ppl off, than you really have to realize that this whole game is based on events that some ppl have a hard time dealing with. I guess you could tribute it to the ppl who suffered on 9-11, but I'm sure some ppl would be offended, that's the nature of humanity!! How thick is the ice you're going to walk on? Ultimately it's your decision.

If you want to do the map, go ahead and do it, if it doesnt work then think up some other great idea!
Either way, i have no problem if you did it, you might want to make it a non-combat map, so you could have it as a tribute map and maybe you could get some blueprints, i know that on a programme on the Discovery Channel they showed some blueprints!

I think it would be cool! But only as a SP map.
Obj=Kill the terriest....lol
Work your way to the top of the building where you find the terriest on the roof, have all his pathnods on the edge and when he dies he falls off the edge.
As far as some1 getting offended I wouldn't!
This isn't the 90's we don't have to be sooo politicly correct.

Yes that is a good point.
That is why I wanted to make it standing tall with the
US flag
floowing in the wind...
And this map is to have fun on. We all know, or should know this is a game, and games are fun..
And this game was baset on WWII. So should we cast aside MOHAA?
I just want to have fun with ppl all over:)

What is fps bro? Sorry I am a little noob when it comes to maping..
I have used 3Ds max for a little time..
And where would I get the fog from?

fps = frame rate per second
Which is basicly how many pictures your 'screen' displays every second.

How do I make the nades last longer?
They will not hit the ground....

If your frame rate is high like 120fps then youve got a good map
If your frame rate is low like 12fps then youve got a problem
The higher your frame rate, the better it plays
If you have a 12fps map and you add fog it will make it abit better.
