Ok for all who are interested Im currently working on a map called Revin(soon to be Storm on Revin). Here is some histroy first.

Revin is a town in france and was a small depot town during the war. There are 2 bridges a road bridge and a train bridge. I got the idea from an recon map I found on the internet. This town was never attack in histroy but I made this map as if the axis were storming revin.

I have made the map as close to the recon map as I can so far, Still some things to be done. Few buildings to add, and a lot of detailed work to be done.

I want to show some people my progress so any who are interested in viewing my map ( its gonna be about 3MB ) post here and just say you want to see it. I noticed shifty had a problem with someone else taking his map so I will PM the download to you.

I would really apprciate as many people as possible to preview this map. It is my first...I need some feedback. If it is terrible tell me it's terrible...Im ready for any and all opinions, be honest please.

Here is a list of things I plan to add:

-Few more buildings (not sure how many yet)
-Trees and boarder what have you along the outside...
-Lights
-Wall along the road, nice and small with breaks in it (I can't figure out how to make a wall bend like the road so If anyone has any ideas I could use some help here)
-Various static things, especially inside buildings
-I got to mess with the plan a little bit more, add more fire, smoke...
-Building a small train depot at axis spawn, not big at all just small portion of it..
-add spawn points, etc...
-retexture some things
-there is more just can't think of it right now

You might be thinking there isnt much to view but it is quite developed right now, no visual errors as far as I know but I may have missed something.

So please let me know, I could use some feedback, anything, Ill have the download ready by tonight hopefully...

It's not bad. I think with a little more polish, it'll be a fun little map to play. :D

-I have screenshots and comments for most of the things that I noticed on my website. Go here http://www.freewebs.com/axion9/images.htm and scroll down to view them.

-For your French windows, look at this crappy picture I made-

Image

You'll probably need to delete your old windows and make new ones, but that shouldn't be difficult.

-Your texture selection in some areas is a little funky, but I like it for the most part.

-I think that pretty much covers everything. I like the design of your houses, especially the one with all the windows. And I like the terrain and the debris in the river, it looks sweet.

If you have any questions about what I had to say, just PM or email me and I'll be happy to explain.

Hey Axion thanks a lot this was a big help. Don't worry about being picky niether because I will take no offense. It is what I need, to learn and improve. Yeah I know the textures are a little messed up in some places but Ill fix that. I noticed some of those leaks before too. Couple questions Ill PM you later. I really appreciate this, thanks for taking the time to look at it. When I get it closer to finished or completely finished and want someone to test it out Ill be coming straight too you, if that isn't a problem. Much thanks.
