New all anim ai pack coming soon

I got sick of not being able to do whatever I wanted with my ai in mp so I made a pak of dudes who say no to nothing. So anyway these guys will work in any level and do any anim even omaha anims.

Woohoooooo.

Sumo, any chance of you tweaking the winning animations on my map, theres one for both axis and allies but they are pretty boring. I can send you the map and script I am using.

Its a Spearjead map 80% complete right now, Just 2 buildings and a few tweaks and its ready to go but these final animations I have got really could do with some WOW factor, I know you have the technology to do it.

If you have the time I would really apreciate your help if you cant then its no problem, just an idea.

I was wondering: If you change the line in the bot tik:

$include models/human/multyplayer_generic_human.tik

to:

$include models/human/new_generic_human.tik

maybe the bots will be able to do everything??? Coz the new_generic_human.tik have all the animations...

The new_generic_human.tik needs to be edited to get all the animations to work or if it is single player you can use test_ in front of map name but they are not all the animations there are dialog animations as well that are not in the new_generic_human.tik . I know what sumo is doing so wait untill he releases it and see what I mean .

i've already made a pack that will do that and posted it in the forum a couple of days ago,

the anims for spearhead and other expansions won't be in there, as i don't have a copy of any of them, but can be added by editing the file, here's the link to my previous post

only problem is, i can't find anywhere the sound files get played from, so although you can name your map anything you like to get the anims working, it still won't guarantee the sounds :) :(

Oh. you're right 8-) nuggets! The new_generic_human don't have the level specific animations...

I'll d/l your pk3 and check the sounds...

I think what sumo was doing was also includeing the dialoge animations like this one

If enable when you have a ai say dfr_M1L1_add02 the game looks for this animation which is in the m1l1dialog_us.tik and not only does the ai say what you asked him to say but also does the ACTOR_m1l1_add02.skc animation . This only works if the animations are enabled the same way you do it for the new_generic_human.tik only you do it to the models/human/animation/dialogue/generic_dialogue_US.tik

Yeah guys my medics now say "thats how to win the war" and "how do you liek norway" lool thats with mouths moving and arms waving, its totally sick. It will be released tomorrow or the day after, also I will tut you all up on how to make your own custom models work with it, so you can find cool player models and convert them.


Btw its taking a long time to do a workaround for all the uberdialogue, many mnay lines I tell you.

Nuggets I like you and respect you very much, but I downloaded your file and you are way off, and also you modded a file instead of renameing it, wich is kinda naughty, and even then you are missing heaps of animations.

My download is ready so go check it out and tell me what you think.

Sumo, the link on the mohaa page to the tute page is broken :( In fact the only links that work are Toms and BdBodger's>

no apology necessary,

i was only trying to give you a start into the way to go,

having to download every file and have new files for each different model is a pain to keep track of, and knowing which one to use is even moreso to a 3rd user,

all the anims are only from MOHAA and not using specific anims for certain models

i'm not picking faults at all :) but just reading your homepage, i spotted a couple of errors, (not looking for errors) but found

Hey guys, I've gotten restless again and have moved to a new site, I am very thankful to planet mohaa for supporting me but I would like to be in a position where I am totally free and have to answer to no-one. I want to say a big thanks to Robbie for doing the old site for me in ph-nuke, I know technically its way better than this but its just not me and also every man and his dog is doing they're sites in ph-nuke now. And since I am not one to blend in with the crowd I am doing my own stuff now. So thanks again, I hope your not too disappointed in me Robbie. So please be patient while I update everything, and you can all look forward to lots more maps mod,s and skins.
