Its finally almost done.

Additions:
-FPS fix. Major fix of the lag issues.
-extra background buildings using masked textures
-bank on the other side of the river
-ambient sound clips from the movie Enemy at the Gates
-Added walls. buildings.
-New textures
-Added obstacles and scenery.
-New Loadscreen and scoreboard screen finished
-Machine gun nests from hell everywhere.
-Better Ai control and intelligence.

I'm working on getting it all ready for dl. Small Sumo and jv map did an excellent job with the absolutely phenominal scripting.

Soon, I just need Sumo to concur.

Changing the FPS

Stuka dive bombers, Stuka machine gunners, a tank, 5-10 Russians running to their death all the time, mg 42 gunners o yeah then theres the bots.

This was a challenge. What Sumo did was changing of the script and various explosion float times as well as getting all the bugs out making the script run smooth. Drastic ai change. I added more fog and dropped the farplane even more. I also evened out the bots slightly through the script, although there are more Russians.

After everything was done the fps changed for me a lot. Instead of getting the above figure of 30 or so I get 60 70 and 80. It just plain runs a lot better. And considering you're playing a co op online mp map with bots and animations, I think it was done well and is ready to be released.

As soon as I get it uploaded it will be in map releases. Its big file and Im not on cable.

Wow you are the king of screan shots, sounds like your happy with the map so you can go and release it, only I might sugest moving Vasilly and Konig to the ...... erm like in between the two bomb targets to ease fps in that top corner, but it sounds like your on top of it anyway. The guys have waited long enough, release the hounds! Im very pleased with the result. If people want a really hi fps version we could strip away all the candy and put something out ..........

Eh who cares I luv it! Well done Cobra.

K this is what happened Sumo. I changed the draw distance to 2900. It boosted the fps big time. I also created a pile of rubble for Vassili to hide in. I was fooling around with the fodder nodes and I got vassili doing some bad a$$ moves. Listen to this.

Vassili makes his way up the trench and to his sniper position. Takes position, environment check, crouch, then fires over the rubble one handed with the rifle and kills every time he shoots. After that he bolts to the other side of the building and hides in the shadows for concealment. He waits there then takes up postion in 3 places. 20 mm hole, blasted large hole or back to the rubble pile. I made a complicated network of targeted nodes in the building hes in to make him more unpredictable. Im not telling the rest.

He makes up his own mind now. It changed him a lot. Adding specific nodes such as nade hints, concealment nodes and tactical nodes (crate, corner shots, etc) to his environment made him a more versitile opponent. Koenig is just plain not fair. He doesnt have the mobility that Vassili has but his shot is right on and his position can be a real pain in the butt. He's vicious. If he sees you, you now have less than a second to make your move or your dead now. :twisted:

Mostly was just some fine tuning which you already did and I needed to spice the map environement up a bit. Those ambient voices are bad ass. nice work.
