.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

Im tring to figure out how to do a few things...

Here is a lil background info:

a few friends are about to have a somewhat large (for us atleast) net party...we are gonna have a projector there to display current stats

what i want it to be able to do is:

Auto switch players in spectata mode
Display scores every so often

An added plus would be to:

Auto switch to the current leader for a longer perioed of time then the other players.

Auto switch to a current fight between 2 or more players (dought this is possible)

any help would be very greatfull, as a side note i have no idea how to script yet... but im slowly figure this stuff out... thanks all in advance

I don't think anyone here has a clue as to what you are talking about. projector? Autoswitch? I think you need to find a server admin web site or something.

projector = really really big f***ing television.

autoswitch = the ability to automatic spectate one person and switch to another person after "x" seconds without the need for a human person to push the use or fire button.

well,i have never worked with a projector b4,but i know theoretically what has 2 be done.what u need is a display divider (multiplier),usually it looks like a cuboid with one vga slot with female pins (input) and several slots with male pins (output) .connect the vga card with that multiplier and connects the projector and other monitor(s) 2 the other end ,im not sure if the projector uses the same cable but u will have 2 ask some vendor 4 that.

and about the autoswitch ,i have no idea as my scripting abilities are primitve

thanks for the help.... but i already have the project terory(sp) worked out...that was posted to kindof give a picture of the sitsuataion(sp)...all i need to know now is:


1 Automaticly switch players after x ammount of seconds in spectator mode...

2 Automaticly Display scores after x ammount of seconds, i.e. push the tab key

i have figured out away to do this... i was using a macro program (a program to automaticly do certin keystokes programed into it) but i still would rather have a script just for the purpose...

i hope i clearified things alil bit... thanks for the help on the projector idea though... i have thought of doing that in the past but turns out it would cost too much $$ and the cable runs for the other computers would be overwelming(sp)... but as i said before the projector being mentiond was just to set the secne of the enviroment... thanks again in advance...

uh, u could make a config that whne u hit a key its does a use command, waits a few seconds, does another usecommand forever. i dont remember cfg scripting but im sure someone does.
