Sniper rifle ---> rifle conversion

This question is for SH:

I want to take the Springfield, SVT, G43 and remove the scopes and then add the secondary attack as "bash".

Before I start fooling around with this, I want to know if this is even possible.

I am making a realism mod, there wern't many sniper rifles like there are in MOH.
