ladder

I got a ladder but I have a problem. In my map, when I go up the ladder I cant move forward at the top ( I want to get of the ladder in forwards direction.) does someone what to do?

make sure the ceiling above the ladder is high enough for you to get off it.

You need 128 or more units above the top of the func_ladder brush.

also,the func_ladder must be a bit longer than the ladder itself

My func_ladder brushes aren't any taller than my ladders, and they work just fine.

well in a tut somewhere (probably here) it said 2 make it longer so u can go down the ladder in a normal way w/o pressing action key.so ive been doing that eversince .havent actually tried the same length because its not a problem ,so i dont have 2 make a map 4 it and compile 2 c the differenc

.however ,imo better more than less
