prolly the most usual error.
this program has performed an illegal operation .....blah blah blah .........
i bet u've seen it alot.
its not only the ram and a vga card (they do help alot) its the program.its handeling of the systems resources is a joke.
try restarting the pc ,then close all the other applications running like anitviruses ,............ .u only need the explorer and systray (win98 +ME) .so keep those open then try,if it doesnt work then make it out of multiple brushes that complete the look

Do you have Norton utilities?
I have these anoying errors on all different kinds of applications (few and far between). And about 8 times out of 10 my norton utilities will fix it. Although I cant come close to gaurenteeing it.
Just a though
