.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

Man i just released "Le Hotel" and i submitted it to alliedassault.com because i always do. I stated in the email tha it was for spearhead only because i use textures from it and i put player weapons in the map from spearhead. Did they post that when they posted my map? NOOOO they sure didnt and i got a few emails today of saying things like"hey man your maps textures aernt showing up" or blah blah blah. Alliedassault.com use to be one of my favorite places to go. But because of all its ads, kids messing up the forums, and stupid admins at that site my faith in them has hit the bottom. Obviously ill post my maps on my own site, but where is another site thats great to post your maps at for download? I like seeing other severs use my maps besides mine. Is there a site thats as big as alliedassault.com that reaches out to the community with open arms?

Maybe you should give your distribution a name like "Le Hotel - Spearhead". I have seen a couple of maps named like this.

BTW, it's not too hard to make it to be AA friendly. I am working on a tutorial for this, because I am making my maps for Spearhead as well, but always test them in AA also. Hopfully then, when I release a map, it will have a larger market.

By the way, how about setting up a server based on your map, and invite other players to play?

hmm AA.com is the biggest community site - unfortunately I'm not a big fan of it either......

Try TMT its not as large as AA.com but is still pretty popular

Course you can test my map. Also by the way its always in rotation on my server. Everyone that has spearhead doesnt have a problem with it lol. Ah those buggery people at aa.com. So i was like hmmmm i should just make my own make it easier for the regulars at my server.

I downloaded your map to check it out. Really neat. I have updated to 2.11 and grabbing the smoke grenades only removes them from the wall, does not add them to your ammo. I was using the new german grenade rifle.
