clip brush properties

I used metal clips to prevent the killing of active players by prisoners in my lib map... I tried setting them to 'no marks' but They still get the bullet hole effect...
Do I have ot use a different clip... or should the no marks thing be working?

Have you tried bringing up the surface-inspector menu for the metal clip brushes (press 's' to bring it up if you don't know how), and checking the 'no-marks' box?

yea that was my first plan, but it didnt work.
So now I compiled with commons, I can live without the metal effects if it gets rid of most of the bulletholes.

Oops, I meant you should try checking the 'weapon clip' box and see if that adds or changes anything. 'Noimpact' also looks like it might be worth a try.

lol, ok...
I didnt want to rudely point out that I had said the no marks thing in the original post =)
I will try messing with the other options later, assuming the 'all' brush doesnt have marks on it for now.
