Couple of Problems

Post by kai0ty »

Yea, my comp is wiggin out and i have no idea why
1. it wont play animated gifs. it stays frozen at the first frame
2. cookies are enabled, however IE acts as though it were on the highest security level. i cant save passwords, or go onto sites that need cookies enabled
3. my system time keeps reverting to 1/1/2002 and i have no idea why

anyone know how to fix this, im out of ideas.

I ran into some googy problems with IE 6 when I first updated, but couldn't figure out how to fix them, until I went to remove it. Then when I went to add/remove programs, it had the repair feature as some installshield wizards do, and ran the repair option. Voila it was perfect after that. My version of win is ME. As far as the time deal, I guess you PC doesnt want to admit how old it is for some reason. Actually I have no idea sorry.
I once was lost, but now........... I'm still lost!

did u try a system restore?try restoring 2 a date b4 this happened and that should prolly fix it,however sometimes the restore function doesnt work so try repairing reinstalling IE like Kaioty said.

its always helpful 2 know that no bug or error can escape a reformat and a new clean windows installation :P
