"The Hunt" script fix.

I just completed a remake of the script for "The Hunt". I basically got fed up with the unfair slaughter that will happen if there are any skilled players on the Axis team: The Allies will run into a nade carpet before they have any chance to reach cover. The fix for this was to re-locate both the Axis and Allied spawning positions to some more balanced positions. No more "Yay! I survived to get into the first house! Now what?"
This is what I did:
1 - Moved the 4 closest Axis spawns backward. The closest spawn is now just behind the "small house with the ladder".
2 - Moved all Allied spawns forward about 10 meters.
3 - The Flak88 will fire if the Axis win by time.
So get the new ( server side ) script file

( Its still BETA, not because Its shaky, but because I don't want to call it final before lots of dudes hace approved it ).

well,i never suffered from nade spamming b4 on this map (maybe cause there isnt any experienced players on the axis side

) .but i think the rest of the features sound cool though .
i have a question 2 ,
i was playing with a few friends on this map and i saw in spectator mode (i was killed) some1 grab the flak and fire it at some1

.i always knew that the flak88 was there 2 be destroyed but i never knew it was usable

.so is that normal ?or do i have some map messing up the script
(i have no mods ,just custom maps)

yes you got right bjarne the 4 axis spawn point are to close of the first house and tehy can easyly nade and snipe others!!!!!
i say it coze i play axis and allied there !!!!!!! the task of allied are much more complicated compare to axis !!!!!!!

That is not normal ( as in not part of the original scripting ), but you can do that by only changing the script file on the server. A lot of changing actually

Sounds great Bjarne... try promoting it to some server admins. Also make sure to submit it to other websites like
www.mohfiles.com and
www.modtheater.com because only posting it here and at rjukanproject will probably not get the attention you need
If this is as good as it sounds pretty much every server should go and use it
P.S. maybe post in the news

HEy! I'm a nerd, not a P.R. manager!
Just kidding, great input there jv. I just wanted to see if someone could set it up on a server and test it. That way I would not suffer the defeat of releasing crap to the public. Just testing it on a 6 people server is not good enough I think, thats why I still call it beta.

Hey B had a chance to get some feedback on how it was working and they didnt seem to notice much of a difference in game play. I will double check to make sure they loaded it right and get back to ya.

The mission texts will change to say it is modded if you installed it correctly.
