Arbitary Sided Brushes

I create and arbitary sided brush....sometimes when i complie the map, i get strange texture stretching form one point to another..originating from the brush...is it common or am i making some sort of mistake....

Or even better is ther another way i can create a dics or closed end cylinder?

You can go to curve-->Primitives-->cylinder or, a 12 to 15 sided brush will do the trick, and save poly count.

If you need the cylinder closed (capped), with it still selected, go to
curve--->cap--->inverted endcap and it will cap
both open ends of the cylinder.

ahh i knew u could finish a pipe...just didnt know how...lol maybe i should have more closely read the tutorial :roll:

So could the texture tearing be down to a being brush with to many sides....as i have been atributing them with 30 or more to achieve complexety....with little luck i must admit :(
