editing the pk3 file from the Spearhead 2.11 Patch

You guys helped me figure out how to open pk files and edit them. I am having problems doing the same thing for the new pk3 file in the spearhead patch. I have properties to where the read only is not checked but still I cannot seems to save after I change the k98grenade tik file. Any suggestions? I am using winrar and am able to open the model/wepaons/tik files with notepad format just fine. the error says something about windows not being able to find such and such file and then it tries to save it as its own seperate file from the pk3.
