I have what I hope is an easy question and that there is an easy solution for it.
One of my regulars to my MOHAA server plays MOHAA on a MAC instead of a PC. I have run into a few maps he cant run for some odd reason.
Does anyone here know why? And if there is a solution, what is it?

This happens when a pk3 for a map doesn't include the .min file (or the .min file might not be up-to-date). On PCs, this file is automatically generated when you play the map, but for a mac the file should be available beforehand. So, dig into your main/maps folder, copy the .min file and send it to the mac guy. Then he only has to place the file in exactly the same folder (i.e. maps/dm or maps/obj) and it should work fine

So will your custom loading screen work properly without that file being present?????Bjarne BZR wrote:You are deleting the file that causes the progress meter to work on the loadscreen, without it you will only see a "loading" text.M&M wrote:and what exactly is the .min file?

I made a loading screen once but I couldn't get it going.
I only spent about an hour messin with it, and thats when I had first started mapping.

It will not affect your loading screen, only if the progress bar is shown or not.HogLeg wrote:So will your custom loading screen work properly without that file being present?????
