COD hypothetical ?

Who besides me has noticed that COD is like, a sibling to MOH? and that when PA comes out, MOH will be popular again?

COD is just the new MOH, (by Activision) and when another, new, MOH-style game comes out, everyone flocks to it? i'm linked by finacial constraints against COD, but i'm very attatched to MOH as well, heck, we can all make COD-style maps, it's the SAME DANG OLD THING! ok, even the editor is the same.

I like to not change games and my modding to every new game that comes out, if i could use COD models and textures etc on MOH, i'd love it! even the slightly simpler interface (triggers, some pre-set pathnodes) is nicer. but when you look at it, it's the same, anyone could use MOHRad and it's respective branches (making .TIK files and .scr's) to recreate the COD interface.

my main question here is, why does everyone buy and mod a new copy of MOH instead of sticking with good ol' MOH? i can see buying it, but not changing your modding to it.

Well it's a new world to explore :)

It is also said that activision supports modders better.

have u tried the editor? its buggy as (insert f-word here). people in the mod commuity had to make there own patches for the editor so it didnt crash spontaneoulsy, and so the height bar worked all the time, not just hwne it felt like it. mohaa is much better for mappers imo.

Activision hired 33 people from 2015 when Mohaa was finished.

i believe it, and i'm not slamming COD or anything, because pretty much all games like MOH and COD are going to be good if they're made right.....
and yeah, i suppose it's always nice to explore some new levels....

i always like a modding-friendly company, and it seemed to me from what i've heard that EA was pretty tight-fisted about letting out the modding tech for the MOHAA line.
