.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

for some reason, in both my versions of MOHAA (SH and AA) whenver i use Gamespy to try and get a good server to join, it goes to the game as usual and right to the mp joining screen where it says

"connecting to server"

but then, after about five-ten seconds, it quits and says,

"server connection timed out"

i've always had this problem and am not sure about why it's happening. any help would be much appreciated.

maybe there is some session timeout setting that is set too short?

i don't know.

i made sure my connection thing in mp options was right, and i can't see what's wrong. everything should work.

maybe i need to put my process down...

1. go into multiplayer door from main room
2. click on join game
3. gamespy opens up, i pick a server
4. Gamespy minimizes
5. little window comes up with messages.
6. me hit head into wall on the way to bathroom in frusteration.

never mind blue, i got it. now i'm asking a dumb question.

how do i join?

i know i can join by hitting fire, it works, i choose weapon and all, but i don't come up. all i do is spectate follow the nearest guy.

eh, yeah click and you should pick weapon and you should spawn... Maybe you want to get together and play at quarter till? I don't know how my dial-up will work though let me know and I'll make a password and wait for you.

can yu do about now? or at 11:20 your time? i'm really in the dumps on this though, i get server connection timed out agan now after i managed to get into one.... sry if it don't work out.
