Help - mohradiant setup.

Post by flygav »

Ok, I give up. Does anyone know why.....In my camera view panel  all I can see on my brush is red and gray. Texture panel is fine, but all I get in camera panel is red and gray, no caulk no nothin.
I installed mohradiant on my old computer and works fine. Everything on it is on C: drive
My main computer my OS is on C:, everything else is on F: drive. Maybe this is causeing problem? I been checking everything for a couple of weeks, now its man vs computer. Which is crazy, I should be doin something productive, lol. Please help if you know what little file has taken over my life.

In the editor, make sure the paths are correct in file > project settings. Is the game installed on "F" drive? Could it be the video card?

all the pathes seem fine. It used to work. The game is on F:\program files\ea games\mohaa. But when I was real new I screwed everything up and had to take out game, dir's and all I could. I'm not real clear on where to put mohaatools, how it unzipps and unzips again. The authors of the tutorals should explain it to their wife or mother and let her write it out in human, lol.
I can make a room on my old computer, to a floppy, load it in editor on new computer, cant see any textures in camera panel. do compile Mbuilder, loads in game and works fine. But your not going to see anything in cam but red and gray. I've takin editor out 2-3 times and same exact thing. Now I have so many files here and there and copys of same, its at the point I'm goin to have to format the whole dam drive for one little /. :\.ha
Man, I should of done that about 2 weeks ago. urr. 8-)
Thanks for your input.

u must have the path wrong ,u might revise it but u wouldnt spot something like
c:\program files from c:\program flies .my advice would be to make sure the paths are right .right them again if necessary .
mohaatools could be installed anywhere u want ,even in the recycle bin (but that wouldnt be very useful  )
but all u need to do is put the right paths between the game and mohaatools .what actually happens is mohaatools searches for the pak#.pk3 files which have all the textures, effects ...other stuff..... .
so if u got a wrong path it would screw up everything (isnt it logical? )
also if u should be sure to make a different folder where all the autosaves and other compilation files .again all u need to do is put the correct path and everything will work as sweet as candy
hope that helps

Check in the Radiant toolbar for the texture render mode icon.
Change that setting to "nearest" and it should render the textures as they would appear in game....you most likely have it set up for flat shade image.
